LingoCup

How it works

How we make LingoCup

We want you to trust every word you hear. Here is exactly how a lesson is made.

A teacher and a native voice

Every lesson has two voices. A narrator explains in English. Everything in the language you're learning is spoken by that language's character, like Fincan for Turkish, with a native-sounding voice. The narrator never pronounces words in the target language, so you only ever copy the native model.

AI voices, checked twice

Our characters' voices are made with AI. Before any video goes out, every single line is checked automatically: a speech recogniser must hear exactly the words in the script, letter by letter, and a pronunciation assessment scores every word and every sound. If one sound is off, the line is re-recorded. We test this checker regularly by feeding it deliberately wrong recordings, and it has to catch every one.

Reviewed by people

Lessons are written against the CEFR levels and reviewed by native speakers of each language.

Honest about time

Reaching C2 takes well over a thousand hours of study. Our lessons give you a clear path and daily practice; we will never promise fluency in 30 days.
